In 2011, nine Regional Skills Canada Competitions will take place in Alberta for high school students. Skills Canada Alberta is proud to partner with local organizations and technical institutes across Alberta to host the regional competitions.

To compete at the Provincial Skills Canada Competition in Auto Service, Carpentry, Culinary Arts and Welding students must qualify at a Regional Skills Canada Competition. In all other events the top performers at Regional Skills Canada Competitions will automatically earn a spot to compete at the Provincial Skills Canada Competition.
