2010 marks the 9th Annual Girls Exploring Trades and Technology Conference! Held in conjunction with the Provincial Skills Competition, the YWETT provides young women many opportunities to discover and explore exciting trade and technology careers available in today's most dynamic industries. The conference targets young women from Alberta senior high schools who have their careers top-of-mind and are curious about careers in the skilled trades and technologies sectors. There are many career opportunities just waiting to be discovered!

The one-day event will feature entertaining keynote speakers, exciting team activities, interesting hands-on demonstration, tours of the 30+ competition areas, fun contests, great door prize draws and much more! Mentors will also be available at the conference to share their experiences, answer questions and participate in informative, interactive round-table discussions.

From computer animation and culinary arts to brick masonry and electrical wiring, the career path opportunities are endless!
